Dr. Kristina “Nina” Bianco grew up in the neighboring town of Bedford, NY. She attended high school at the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT and received her BA from Colgate University, where she studied Environmental Studies and Biology. She attended medical school at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and was awarded the Frederick B. Wilkes Pediatric Award and Research Honors. She completed pediatrics residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of Northwell Health in Queens, NY and stayed on for an additional year as chief resident.
Since completing her training, Dr. Bianco has worked as a pediatrician in the newborn nursery at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City and, most recently, as an inpatient and newborn nursery pediatrician at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. While she enjoyed living in New York City and North Carolina as her husband was finishing his own medical training, she is so excited to be back in the area to be a general pediatrician in the community. Dr. Bianco is passionate about preventative health and how environmental and biopsychosocial factors impact health. She loves being a pediatrician and is so excited to work with pediatric patients and their families in the Ridgefield community.
In her free time, Dr. Bianco enjoys spending time with her two young daughters, exercising, being outside, and trying new restaurants! Dr. Bianco sees patients on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, in addition to assisting with our weekend coverage.
