Dr. de la Riva-Velasco holds a special interest in cystic fibrosis, having worked closely with the Hispanic CF community at our core center – the Armand V. Mascia CF Center. In 2022, she was honored with the Community Partner Award from the Greater New York Chapter of the CF Foundation.
In addition to her clinical care, Dr. de la Riva-Velasco has been an active contributor to the Quality Improvement Committee and continues to support research, education, and fundraising through the Great Strides initiative. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is deeply committed to providing compassionate, inclusive care to all patients and families.
