Laura Rime

Laura Rime joined Orangetown Pediatrics in 2021. She is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a La Leche League leader with the La Leche League of Rockland, N.Y. A mother of two children, she has been a member of the La Leche League for 18 years and a leader for the past 11. In addition to the strong clinical training undertaken as part of her IBCLC certification, she brings strengths in communication skills, and her main objective is to help parents meet their feeding goals, whatever they may be. Breastfeeding can have its challenges, and every journey is unique. She enjoys helping families at all stages of their breastfeeding relationship. In addition to her breastfeeding work, she also teaches adult beginner ballet and has been dancing for more than 30 years. Laura loves to read and play the drums.
