Professional History

Dr. Gadalla attended CUNY School of Medicine/Sophie Davis Biomedical Education BS/MD

Program at The City College of New York to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Psychology. She continued her program at the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Medicine to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree. Her residency training was at NYU Langone Hospital in Mineola, Long Island. While there, she was actively involved in two committees centered around patient and caregiver education. The first was on breastfeeding to help support families improving parental education. The second was Pediatric Adverse Drug Events which worked with families and caregivers to be educated on medications being administered while in the hospital. The time and effort she gave to both committees helped develop better communication and understanding between the patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring appropriate treatment and care of the patient.

When choosing a practice to join, it was important for Dr. Gadalla to find a place where she can form connections and treat a diverse population of patients. Dr. Gadalla is very excited to meet and care for the families of our community.
