Dr. Mira Kothari grew up in Sacramento, California and graduated from University of California, Berkeley with Bachelors in Arts in Public Health and Molecular and Cellular Biology. She earned her Medical Doctorate degree from St. George's University and spent her clinical years in New York City. She completed her pediatric training at New Jersey Medical School, working in Newark and Hackensack, NJ. She was a Chief Resident in Pediatrics the following year. She then completed fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Westchester Medical Center. She joined the division after fellowship and provides services in Valhalla, Wyckoff Hospital, and Bronx Lebananon Hospital. She is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and two young children. In her free time she likes to cook with her toddler or wander in Central Park with her family.
