Dr. Moneeka Zaman grew up in Queens , NY in one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country. A graduate of Stuyvesant High School, she went to receive a BS in Biology from Union College. She then graduated from Albany Medical College with her MD, and completed her pediatric residency at the NY and Presbyterian Hospitals of New York. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and received a medical educator certificate from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is the Director of Continuity Clinics for the Pediatric Residency Program at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. She lives in Pelham, NY with her husband and they have 4 children together. She enjoys both inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, specializing in the education of residents/medical students.
