Samantha holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University and is a Licensed Social Worker. Her professional background includes extensive experience in working with children and adolescents, specializing in crisis intervention and employing diverse therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, play therapy, and art therapy. Prior to joining BCHP, Samantha played a vital role in addressing the needs of adolescents while working at a community residence. In this role, she developed clinical expertise in addressing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral challenges, trauma, LGBTQ+ concerns, and self-harm/suicidal ideation.
