Kayla earned her master’s degree in social work from New York University and is a dedicated bilingual psychotherapist and professor. She currently works with clients ages 15 and older utilizing a trauma informed cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral approach to manage depression, anxiety, poor peer relations, codependency, mood disorders, and low self-esteem. Kayla views herself as an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and is dedicated to providing unconditional positive regard to her clients.
Kayla's work centers on empowering individuals to break intergenerational trauma patterns, establish boundaries with others, and help refocus their lives on self-care.
In her spare time, Kayla enjoys hiking with her dogs, cooking, and spending time with her kids.
