Eric Oberman, DO, FAAP, joined Orangetown Pediatric Associates in July 2000. Dr. Oberman attended medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. During that time, he received the prestigious Pharmacia and Upjohn Award for Academic Excellence. After medical school, he completed a rotating internship at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Islip, N.Y. Dr. Oberman performed his pediatric residency at Winthrop University Hospital on Long Island. During that time he served as chief resident. Dr. Oberman completed his undergraduate education at Binghamton University. He received his master's of sciences degree from State University of New York at Buffalo, during which he completed his thesis about novel pharmaceutical therapies for cancerous tumors, including melanoma and ovarian cancer. Dr. Oberman is married and has a son.
