Professional History

Salheia Hadabbeh, LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor who earned her Master’s degree from the Colin Powell School of Civic and Global Leadership at the City College of New York (CUNY). She began her career in a therapeutic preschool, providing support to children ages 4–6 with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, Autism, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). In this role, she collaborated closely with parents and teachers to strengthen the child’s growth and development.

Most recently, Salheia worked as an outpatient therapist, offering individual and family therapy to clients ages 5 to 66. Her work has included supporting children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of challenges, with a focus on anxiety and depressive related disorders.

Salheia integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT). She emphasizes creating a supportive, empowering, and collaborative environment where children and families feel understood and encouraged. Salheia takes care in meeting each client where they are, tailoring therapy to their unique personality, needs, and helping them discover new ways to grow, heal, and thrive.
