Alfina Rijo-Poueriet

Alfina Rijo Poueriet, MD, grew up in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Universidad Iberoamericana, and she received the title of Doctor of Medicine. She worked as a university professor and a general practitioner in her country. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center and is currently doing her Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship training at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.

She currently resides in Westchester. She speaks English, Spanish, French, and Italian. She enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
