Professional History

Dr. Mariawy Riollano-Cruz is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric infectious disease specialist with Boston Children’s Health Physicians. She brings a strong academic foundation and compassionate clinical expertise to her role, providing high-quality care to diverse patient populations, including Spanish-speaking families.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, graduating in 2018. Following this, she pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, completing her subspecialty training in 2021. She became board-certified in general pediatrics in 2019 and in pediatric infectious diseases in 2021.

Since beginning her clinical practice, Dr. Riollano-Cruz has cared for patients in New Jersey and now practices in the Westchester county. Her clinical interests include infections in immunocompromised children, hospital-acquired infections, and travel-related infectious diseases.

As a pediatrician in the field of infectious diseases, I am committed to the general well-being of children. I value the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with my patients and their families. My focus of interest includes common infections in the pediatric population, as well as infections in immunocompromised children, and those acquired during hospitalization or travel.
