Lisa graduated from Duke University with her MSN in Pediatric Primary Care. Prior to working at Orangetown Pediatrics, she worked at BCHP Scarsdale Pediatrics as a Nurse Practitioner in general pediatrics. She spent the bulk of her nursing career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Units at Children's Hospital at Montefiore and Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. Just prior to obtaining her NP, she earned her IBCLC and had been working as a lactation consultant at The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ and staff nurse in the Newborn Nursery/ Postpartum units at Greenwich Hospital. She has also worked at Blythedale Children's Hospital with ventilator dependent infants and toddlers.
Lisa is not only a dedicated healthcare provider, but also a devoted mother to her three daughters. Her personal experience as a mother coupled with her clinical experience as a nurse have made her a strong advocate for pediatric mental health, a focus she will continue to develop. She not only strives to become a partner in your child's physical and mental well-being, but will advocate for the resources and services available to them in the community. When she isn't working, Lisa is always looking to get outdoors and hike or get up on stage and act. She enjoys getting to know each and every one of her patients and loves to quote lines from movies!
