Melissa Ungeheuer

Dr. Ungeheuer was born in Brooklyn but grew up in upstate NY. She attended college at the University of South Florida and completed Medical school training at LECOM Bradenton. She moved back to NY for her Pediatric Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Long Island and moved back upstate to work in more underserved/rural areas. She previously worked at Hudson Mohawk Pediatrics until Dr. Buckley’s retirement at the end of May 2021. Her philosophy is to nurture a happy healthy child and focus on preventative care and education. She has an interest in mental health and ADHD. She has been practicing for 10 years prior to joining us and is Board Certified in Pediatrics.
