Maya Fisher

Dr. Maya Fisher joined Ridgefield Pediatrics in April 2026. She grew up on Long Island and attended Cornell University, where she earned a BS degree in Human Development. After college, she went to medical school at New York Medical College. This is where she realized the joy of caring for children. Dr. Fisher completed her pediatric residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where she met her husband Mark. After her training, she worked in primary care in NYC until she and her growing family moved to Fairfield County.

Dr. Fisher's clinical interests include nutrition, lactation, and postpartum support for new moms. She is fluent in Russian and board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She lives in Wilton with her husband and two children. You will likely see her around town chasing her kids on playgrounds and climbing with them on jungle gyms.

Dr. Fisher is excited to build her practice and be a part of your child's village.
