Sunil Chickmagalur

Dr. Chickmagalur earned his undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University, followed by a medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, and most recently, finished a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Chickmagalur’s clinical interests include bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), chronic respiratory failure/mechanical ventilation, pulmonary hypertension, asthma, bronchiectasis, and interstitial lung disease. Additionally, he is actively involved American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Thoracic Society.

Outside of work, Dr. Chickmagalur enjoys spending time with family, traveling, weightlifting, basketball, and reading.
