Our research studies focus on the pathogenesis of intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) and development of neuro-protective strategies to prevent brain damage after IVH in premature infants. Current therapeutic strategies to treat IVH or prevent the resultant white matter brain injury have been largely unsuccessful. <br />
