Prenatal visits
Expectant parents are welcome to make a prenatal appointment to learn more about our practice and tour our facility. Please call to make an appointment and let us know if you have a preference for a particular pediatrician. If you choose our practice, please make an appointment for your newborn two days after your baby leaves the hospital, unless otherwise instructed.
Growth & development
One of our most important goals during your child’s checkups is checking their growth and development. From infancy to adolescence, your child reaches many steps and stages. We check that your child is growing and developing appropriately and meeting his or her developmental milestones.
If you have any concerns about your child’s growth or development, we encourage you to make an appointment. You may also schedule an appointment to review any information needed for WIC, such as your child’s weight, growth, hemoglobin and lead.
Immunizations
We follow the immunization schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Detailed information about each immunization is available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Laboratory tests
We can perform several lab tests right in our office, including hemoglobin and lead screening, random cholesterol screening, rapid strep and rapid flu testing, urinalysis and urine culture.
