Sick appointments are for your child’s simple health problems like sore throat, earache, cough, fever, rash, and common, straightforward health problems.
These appointments are only for children:
- over 6 months of age
- with one health problem
- who have had symptoms for fewer than three days
Babies under 6 months (because of their age), children with symptoms longer than 3 days, or those with existing conditions (such as asthma, headaches, chronic abdominal pain) require complex medical assessments and treatments and would be poorly served in these urgent care visits. For these cases, please call the office to schedule an appointment.
If you are booking for an ER/hospital follow-up or a follow up after an automobile accident, please call the office. These visits require more time than a self-scheduled sick visit allows.
