Neonatal Follow-Up Program

Our Neonatal Follow up Program provides support for our former NICU infants in addition to any other infants or toddlers through 3 years of age who are at risk for or for which there is concern for developmental impairment or delay. 

Children assessed in our program have frequent, serial developmental assessments taking into consideration conditions and exposures experienced by the child prior to delivery, during delivery and anytime after birth which may impact their development. Early identification of developmental delays are imperative to implement early treatment to assure the best developmental outcomes. 

Our team will make interventional recommendations and medical referrals when appropriate for conditions which may be affecting your child’s development. We act as a supplement to your pediatric care with a focus on your child’s developmental needs. We assist with the coordination of complex care and services necessary for many of our patients. We strive for your child to achieve their greatest developmental potential. All of our findings and recommendations will be discussed with you and your family, and a copy of the evaluation will be sent to your pediatrician.
