Sonia Pothraj

Dr. Pothraj graduated from Rice University and was awarded the Spanish & Portuguese Cervantes Award for outstanding seniors. She received her MD from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where she graduated with multiple clinical honors distinctions. She completed her three years of pediatrics residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where she graduated with numerous honors and the David H. Carver Teaching award, an award for excellence in teaching. She has previous experience working at PM Pediatrics Urgent Care, where she completed their provider training program. She received structured continuing professional medical education as well as training under her mentors and supervisors, seasoned pediatric emergency medicine physicians. Dr. Pothraj is excited to move to Orange County, NY and serve the patients of Washingtonville Pediatrics!
