Kate Franklin, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is Boston Children’s Health Physicians’s Chief of Service for the Division of Speech and Language Pathology.
She is also the Department Chair and an Associate Professor of Clinical Speech-Language Pathology in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at New York Medical College. She completed her doctoral work in the area of augmentative/alternative communication (AAC) for individuals with complex communication disorders and has more than 25 years of experience in both the academic and clinical settings.
Her primary responsibilities involve teaching graduate coursework in child language development, diagnostic and clinical methods in speech-language pathology, AAC across the lifespan, and professional ethics. Additionally, she provides clinical education to graduate clinicians.
