Crystal Bent-Taylor

Crystal earned her undergraduate degree in Health Studies from Utica College in 2019 and her Master of Social Work with a focus in Clinical Social Work from Utica University in 2024. During her time as a graduate student, Crystal completed internships with the Mobile Crisis Assessment Team, Utica City School District and at the New Paltz Youth Program. Crystal has vast experience working individuals across the lifespan and in community, foster care, school and crisis settings. She enjoys supporting individuals and families who are experiencing concerns such as stress, depression, anxiety and use of maladaptive skills in response to the difficulties and concerns experienced.

Crystal holds space for individuals she meets with to express themselves, while offering support. Crystal enjoys coloring, drawing and listening to music in sessions, as well as exploring and discussing helpful skills that can manage emotions and situations.
