Dr. Levie earned his undergraduate degree from New York University, followed by a medical degree from Technion American Medical School in Haifa, Israel. He completed his residency at Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in 2023, and most recently, finished a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Dr. Levie's clinical interests include diabetes, thyroid disorders, and growth and metabolic conditions in children and adolescents. Additionally, he is actively involved with the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Endocrine Society, and the Pediatric Endocrine Society.
Dr. Levie brings a strong research background to his clinical work, including studies on liver disease screening in adolescents with obesity and thyroid monitoring in newborns. He also helped lead a project to improve detection of non-accidental trauma in young children, and was recognized during residency for excellence in teaching medical students. Before entering medicine, he served as a volunteer EMT, an early reflection of his commitment to patient care.
