Alandra is a dedicated mental health counselor with a strong academic foundation and extensive experience working with children and adolescents. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2018 and returned to complete her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling in 2025. Alandra has developed her clinical skills across diverse settings, including a residential treatment facility, both public and private schools, and as a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego. Through these roles, she has gained valuable experience providing trauma-informed care, supporting youth and their families, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote emotional well-being and resilience. She has experience working with ages 4–18, addressing concerns such as trauma, PTSD, behavioral challenges, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Alandra draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy approaches to meet each individual’s unique needs and aims to provide an empathetic, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel safe, heard, and supported.
