Elizabeth Schlissel is Licensed Mental Health Counselor and obtained her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Marist College. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, poor self -esteem, conduct disorders, trauma, and self-harm. Elizabeth also has expertise in working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder. She uses a person-centered approach, focusing on the individual’s diverse background, unique strengths, and their developmental needs. Elizabeth utilizes evidence-based modalities of treatment, including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and dialectal behavior therapy (DBT).
