Martha DiMartini has been a part of Pediatric Associates of Southern Westchester for 12 years. She started as a certified medical assistant with her degree from Monroe College. Her passion and devotion to the health and well-being of our patients drove her to continue her education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse; she completed her schooling at Southern Westchester BOCES.
Martha assists the physicians in many aspects of patient care; she is currently the Clinical Coordinator. Her many responsibilities include vaccinating patients from birth to 21, administering medications, care for patient wounds, assisting with procedures and treatments, making sure the lab and equipment are working to standards and available for patient testing, and support and mentoring the medical assistants. Martha is well versed and knowledgeable in basic medication dosages and interpreting routine lab results. When our physicians recommend outside testing or lab procedures be completed, Martha will follow up with the patients to ensure optimal care is provided.
As a New Rochelle local, she takes great pride in being part of the community, Boston Children’s Health Physicians network and seeing the positive outcomes her skills have in each family she interacts with.
