Anita Ware

Dr. Ware is an Assistant Professor at New York Medical College. She completed her residency, Chief residency and Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center/NYMC. Dr. Ware is currently an Attending Neonatologist at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center and St. John’s Regional Hospital in Yonkers, NY

Her area of research is Neonatal Immunology, looking at the immune system across gestation. She is studying the role of T cell subsets and the balance between immune tolerance and immune response in neonates and how this impact preterm infants ability to mount a response to illness and infection.
