Thank you for choosing Kathleen Ennabi Pediatrics! We look forward to meeting your family and caring for your little ones. The following information will help you know what to expect from your first visit with us. 

To make a new patient appointment, please call us at 845-227-0123. If you are a new parent giving birth, simply tell the hospital staff that you would like your newborn to be seen in our office within two days of discharge, and then please call us on the day you are discharged to schedule an appointment for your baby.

Once you have booked your appointment, you will receive a link via email to sign up for our patient intake tool, called Phreesia. We ask that you please register for Phreesia and complete the new patient forms prior to your appointment. 

On the day of your appointment, please bring with you: 

  • your child’s health insurance card/information
  • a list of all medications your child takes
  • a list of any questions or concerns
  • copies of any records from other doctors

FAQ’s when choosing a new pediatrician:

1. How do I transfer my child’s medical records to your office?

You can request your child’s records from your previous pediatrician. If you need assistance, our office can provide a medical records release form to help with the process.

2. Do you accept my insurance?

We accept most major insurance plans. If you're unsure whether we accept your plan, please call our office, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

3. How often should my child see the pediatrician?

We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines:

4. What if my child gets sick outside of office hours?

A doctor is on call and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For urgent after-hours calls, you can reach the on-call doctor through our answering service at 516-517-6471.

5. What vaccinations does my child need?

We follow the CDC and AAP-recommended vaccine schedule to keep your child protected against serious illnesses. You can view or vaccine schedule here.

6. Do you offer same-day sick visits?

Yes! We offer same-day sick appointments whenever possible. Please call early in the day to secure an appointment.

7. Do you provide developmental and behavioral health support?

Yes! In addition to monitoring your child’s growth and developmental milestones at every well visit, we have an on-site behavioral health consultant who works closely with our team. Whether you have concerns about your child’s behavior, emotions, attention, or social development, we can provide guidance, screenings, and support—all within our office. If needed, we also help coordinate referrals for additional care.
