Suzette Gjonaj, MD completed her medical school in the West Indies, and did her Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla NY.
She is both board certified in Pediatric Pulmonology and General Pediatrics. She has been practicing in the Hudson Valley since 1996. Dr. Gjonaj is a longtime resident of Dutchess County for more than 30 years. She has been and remains a staunch advocate at the New York State level on behalf of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
As Director of the CF Affiliate Center of the Hudson Valley, she is actively involved in Quality Improvement at the Center in Poughkeepsie. She is a committed volunteer at the Great Strides Walk in Poughkeepsie.
Dr. Gjonaj and her husband are also active in volunteering in their community events. In her free time , she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is the proud mother of 4 children and one grandchild.
