Paty McGoldrick is an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in pediatric neurology and epilepsy. She provides compassionate, personalized care to children with epilepsy, neurological disorders, and developmental delays across a wide range of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and group facilities.
She currently serves as Co-Director of the Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic. Her clinical career spans Mount Sinai Health System, Beth Israel Medical Center, St. Luke’s-Roosevelt, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Metropolitan Hospital, and United Cerebral Palsy, among others. She has extensive experience managing complex epilepsy programs, including epilepsy surgery programs and ketogenic diet programs.
Patty is also a dedicated educator, teaching nurse practitioner students, residents, medical students, and nurses at Columbia University School of Nursing, New York Medical College, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, and other institutions. She has published and spoken extensively on pediatric epilepsy and catastrophic epilepsies.
Recognized for her leadership in pediatric neurology, Patricia has received the Nurse Practitioner Award for Excellence in Child Neurology Nursing (2021), the Epilepsy Hero Award (2017), and multiple American Epilepsy Society Nurse Investigator Awards. She is a Fellow of the American Epilepsy Society and active in organizations including the Association of Child Neurology Nurses and the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses.
