From 1980 to 1985, Dr. Gewirtz was the Director of the Pediatric Emergency Services at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center. Ever since, he's worked in the private practice of pediatrics in Rockland County.

My favorite part of being a pediatrician is the positive feedback, the smiles, the interactions and the satisfaction of keeping kids healthy when they are well and healing them when they are ill.
