Martina Bezdickova

Dr. Bezdickova grew up in Prague, Czech Republic, where she also graduated from medical school at Charles University in Prague. She moved to United States to pursue further graduate studies and she completed her PhD at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., in the area of microbiology and immunology. She continued with her clinical training in pediatrics at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn. She also spent one year at Weill Cornell Medical Center at the Department of Endocrinology, where she worked in the clinical as well as research area. She and her husband decided to leave New York City and raise their five children in beautiful Orange County, N.Y., where she still resides. Besides spending time with her children she loves to travel, hike in the nearby mountains, garden and grow her own vegetables, and also ski with her children and friends.
