Dr. Eric Fethke has special expertise in pediatric exercise testing and pediatric echocardiography (ultrasound imaging) of the heart in children.
Dr. Fethke also specializes in the outpatient evaluation of pediatric heart diseases, with a special interest in fetal and congenital heart disease.Dr. Eric Fethke was trained at Columbia University’s Babies Hospital where he did his pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship. He specializes in noninvasive pediatric cardiology care for almost 19 years. His particular focus is on following patients through the full spectrum of their life including prenatal life through adulthood. He specializes in pediatric exercise testing, pediatric echocardiography, fetal and congenital heart disease, noninvasive cardiac diagnostic testing and community-based care.
He is the founder of the Pediatric Cardiology Associates of the Greater Hudson Valley which has been providing regional community-based services since 1998. He has worked closely with several academic pediatric tertiary care centers to provide inpatient care and student physician education. Most recently, he has started and directs the Pediatric Subspecialty Program at Orange Regional Medical Center.
He now has joined Boston Children’s Health Physicians with plans to increase the services available for the children of the Hudson Valley.
